I was born Jonathan Ash Topf in the deep southwest of England a month premature and spent the first months of my life either sleeping or crying with colic whilst my parents walked me up and down the Penryn river.
Eventually I grew out of that and a few split lips, grazed knees and bruised shins later I found myself working for engineered arts where amongst many many other things I started to work with some animation. I decided to follow this thread a little further and am now a few tentative months away from graduating have now graduated from UCA Farnham on the animation course. Right now I’m working on my own film and also doing freelance work on commercials. Soon I’ll be starting an MA in Animation Direction at the National Film and Television School.
