I was born Jonathan Ash Topf in the deep southwest of England a month premature and spent the first months of my life either sleeping or crying with colic whilst my parents walked me up and down the Penryn river. Eventually I grew out of that and a few split lips, grazed knees and bruised shins later I found myself working for engineered arts where amongst many many other things I started to work with some animation. I decided to follow this thread a little further and am now on the other side of a BA in animation from  UCA Farnham and a MA in animation direction at the National Film and Television School. I’m now working on far to many things at once all in and around animation and having a great time doing it.
