I’ve been working in various forms of 3D for a number of years and am now working in freelance modelling, animation and rigging. I jump between Maya and XSI depending on the job but if given the choice I’d work in Maya.
This still above is from a short film I’m working on in my spare time, I modeled and rigged it in Maya then set up a bunch of render layer to comp together in AfterEffects.

Development work I did for sherbet studios.
Modelling Reel
This video is just a collection of model turntables, some of it’s looking a bit old now. Watch this space for an updated reel when the projects I’m working on get aired. No flash player? Quicktime here.

I modelled this car in XSI along with some other things at Not To Scale this summer. It was used in the Spanish commercials for Zurich Connect.

These are tests from a new facial rigging setup I tried out. The idea was to have all the controls attached to the face whilst keeping their position relative to each other rather than the usual wires floating in space.

This is just a simple pack shot I worked up for a pitch recently, modeled in maya and rendered with Mental Ray.

I also like to try my hand at traditional sculpting when I can, it’s good to start in a medium that doesn’t have the same restraints as CG.
Take a look at my latest showreel or the films page to see more 3D work.
